Q Designs holds a unique place within the residential and commercial marketplace, specializing in taking a project from the conceptual designs stages to "move in". Susan Lindstrom was raised in Sonoma, CA within the environment of her family's general construction company.

She graduated from California State University, Chico with a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies and holds a K-12 teaching credential as well as minor in studio art. Her study of art and architecture has facilitated her background in design. This, coupled with her practical knowledge of the construction industry led her toward purchasing homes for speculation in the 1980's. It was then that she began to draw her conceptual designs for homes. In 1987 Susan and her husband founded Lindstrom Construction, a Residential and Commercial Construction Company.

In 2006 she went on to open Q Designs with the goal of focusing on Construction Design. Susan specializes in interior finishes, construction management services, and space design.

Q Designs works closely with homeowners and general contractors to help navigate the process of working with landscape architects, engineers, sub-contractors, plumbers, electricians, and fabricators.

Q Designs has found a home in the space between general contractor and architect; designing to facilitate construction.
